
Calculations are strange things. I had a lot of problems with them during GCSE Maths. I've been doing financial calculations for work for the past 2 or 3 weeks and have just found a simple error in one of the earlier stages of the process. As a result, all of the subsequent calculations are wrong.
Calculations are like dominoes.

A word to define the calculation that takes place when you are in a heated ideological argument with someone who shows all the hallmarks of mental retardation and, despite having overwhelming evidence to prove you're right, you realise that it would be quicker and better for all involved if you admit defeat.
